Cora's story
OOC : My portrayal of Cora is different than the show. She is an alternative version of my own ideas.
Cora Suzanne Hale was born on September 11th 2001. She is the youngest child of the Alpha werewolf Talia Hale and an unnamed father. She was only 4 when the fire burnt down the Hale's house, killing eleven members of the Hale's family excluding Derek and Laura who were at school while Cora was at preschool. After the fire, Laura and Derek left for nearly six year in New York until Laura decided to go back to Beacon Hills, California to investigate a deer found in Beacon Hills. While Cora was in New York with Derek, Laura stayed there to investigate the message that was on the deer. What Laura didn't know is that their uncle Peter woke up from a six year coma and attacked Laura during the full moon, and killed her (that part is unknown as to if he killed Laura or just took her Alpha power. ) Seeing that Laura wasn't coming back, Derek took Cora with him to go back to their hometown only to find that Laura has been killed by a werewolf (he didn't know it was Peter ). The view of Laura's death was traumatizing for her that she often has nightmare. Since their arrival, Cora and Derek live in their old house. In September 2011, Cora turned ten and started her 5th grade.
Cora didn't meet Scott until he came to the house to talk to Derek. And the rest came along the way. Her first transformation was in 2012 and it was the most stressful and scary things she has ever faced.
Today, she is now thirteen and a half.
